IMM #3

In My Mailbox is hosted by the beautiful Story Siren.

I couldn't resist.  I told myself that I would stop buying books...just until I've gotten through about half of my TBR pile.  v___v  Fail, Chey.  You.  Fail.  I went into a different Goodwill (the one closer to my house) expecting to find no more than 3 books like last time.  Boy was I wrong.  About 5 minutes and a stack of books killing my arms later, there was an announcement that they were closing for the night so I made my way to the cashier.  Half of these were brand new.  I'm still so excited.  Guess how many I got?  Come on, just guess.

Yeah...13.  I hate buying books at an uneven number but if I kept adding more I was afraid I'd never be able to stop.  Now I kind of regret putting one of them back (It was Beautiful by Amy Reed, if you were wondering) but I hadn't seen any reviews on it and it wasn't on my list like the others.  Sooo...yeah.  But maybe it'll be there when I go back.  *crosses fingers*  Okay, come on already- tell us the books you got!  Okay, okay, hold your horses.  >___> ...What?  Oh like you don't talk to yourself...

Let's get this show on the road.

-The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart
-The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks
-Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
-The Center of Everything by Laura Moriarty
-Rebel Angels (Gemma Doyle Series #2) by Libba Bray
-The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
-Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen
-The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
-The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
-The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong
-The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong
-Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
-Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty

I don't currently own (nor have I read) Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr or A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray, but until I do, I'll have to put Rebel Angels and Ink Exchange at the end of my TBR pile.

Oh!  Before I forget, I have a review coming this week for Haven by Kristi Cook.  Woohoo, first review!

  1. OMG! Your goodwill had the entire Darkest Powers trilogy!?!?! I am sooo jealous! I stalk the goodwill close to me and they don't really have much YA. Did you do a happy dance in the store? I so would have done one for Kelley Armstrong books :). Lucky girl, you got a great stash.

    Oh, BTW I'm a new follower... Here's my IMM! ~ Jen @ A Book and a Latte

  2. Jen, it seems that this Goodwill had an entire YA section. I was definitely in heaven. I'm sure that now I'll be going back frequently. haha. All of the Darkest Powers books are new, as well. I'm still excited! Thanks for following. ^_^
