Best of 2012: Beginning of a Series

It seems that most newer releases you read are always the beginning of a series.  Here were my favorites of this year!

-Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
-Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian
-Crewel by Gennifer Albin

-The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
-Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard
-Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry

-Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
-Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
-Entangled by Nikki Jefford

-Pretty Crooked by Elisa Ludwig
-Everneath by Brodi Ashton
-Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey

The sequels to Under the Never Sky, Everneath and Sweet Evil are highest on my wishlist and you can bet that I'll be reading them as soon as they come out next year!

  1. Awesome post! For once I've actually read some of these books ;P
Masque of the Red Death I loved, Everneath I really liked, and Under the Never Sky, Shattered Souls, and Burn for Burn were okay.
I actually own The Raven Boys, and I really need to buy Pushing the Limits and Sweet Evil. Thanks for sharing!! :)
