Waiting on Wednesday #67

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by, Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases we can't wait to get our hands on!

Title: Another Little Piece
Author: Kate Karyus Quinn
Release Date: June 11th, 2013
Publisher: HarperTeen

The spine-tingling horror of Stephen King meets an eerie mystery worthy of Sara Shepard's Pretty Little Liars series in Kate Karyus Quinn's haunting debut.

On a cool autumn night, Annaliese Rose Gordon stumbled out of the woods and into a high school party. She was screaming. Drenched in blood. Then she vanished.

A year later, Annaliese is found wandering down a road hundreds of miles away. She doesn't know who she is. She doesn't know how she got there. She only knows one thing: She is not the real Annaliese Rose Gordon.

Now Annaliese is haunted by strange visions and broken memories. Memories of a reckless, desperate wish . . . a bloody razor . . . and the faces of other girls who disappeared. Piece by piece, Annaliese's fractured memories come together to reveal a violent, endless cycle that she will never escape—unless she can unlock the twisted secrets of her past.

It's been a while since I've read a truly creepy book that has kept me awake at night.  I'm hoping that this one will live up to my expectations after reading a summary like that!

What awesome title are you waiting for this Wednesday?

  1. I'm excited for this creepy book too. I think mostly because I like the cover, but the summary is pretty great too. I think this was actually my WOW post a few weeks ago. Great pick! My WOW

  6. I think this sounds fantastic! I haven't read any of Stephen King's horror novels but I do like scary YA books (like The Diviners and Ripper). I have this on my TBR list. Great pick!

  7. I can't wait for Unravel Me. It's a shame they changed the covers, now I won't have a completed set unless I buy them all over again. And I would, it's just I'm spending a gazillion bucks on books. I'm sure when my mom see's her credit card bill she'll kill me. But I need books like a drug addict needs cocaine. ;)

  8. I don't really enjoy too many creepy books, but this one sounds great! I'll definitely be adding it to my TBR :)

  9. I'm not a huge fan of horror or contemp, but I like the mashup of PLL and Steven King!

  10. Oh jeeze!! I am a pretty big chicken, so this potentially sounds too scary for me. Still, very intriguing as well.
