Last Wednesday Tonya Hurley, author of The Blessed came to my city.  I'd gotten her book in the mail a few days earlier so I was pretty excited to go meet her, but as it turns out, just an hour before the event, my car died!  Just my luck, right?  The arrival of many more awesome books made my week brighter, especially when I found Francesca Lia Block's new book in the mail!
